Some things can only be done alone. Mostly that’s easy.
Sharing can only be done with someone else. Sometimes that’s tricky.
Before you give someone a gift or a surprise, you have the joy (and the pain) of knowing that you’re going to change the course of both your lives. With eager anticipation, you wait out the long duration until you can present your gift. You enjoy the special magic of the giving and receiving. You’re filled with expectation. You know what you’ve given them, but they still don’t. Are they going to like it? What’s the reaction going to be? Will you be relieved at their excitement or daunted by their meh? Finally, it’s unwrapped and naked. And you feel vulnerable. But you immediately see that they love it. And they love you too. And you both soar off to new highs.
Putting our melts out in the big wide world was risky. We want you to love them. And if you do, we’d love to know what you think. If you don’t, we’d still love to know what you think.
That way, we can all soar off to new highs.
