Growing up on a farm, Ethan has always been hands-on, developing skills from an early age working on the sheep farm and renovating the family house with his father. Self-help YouTube wasn't available back then so anything that required fixing, he learnt from his father or by trial and error.

This sparked an interest in engineering and Ethan completed Structural engineering qualifications.

When Katie and Ethan met in 1995 they instantly shared an interest in property and bought a place together within 12 months and sold it a year and a half later for a healthy return.

They developed a strong property portfolio from renovating to sell or renovating for capital growth. Most of the properties were run-down older properties which he restored based on whether it was buy and hold or buy and sell.

Ethan loves to solve problems and restoring properties fills that need. This process drove them to doing it for other investors.

Started investing in property at age 21, when Katie and Ethan purchased their first property and then spent the next 18 months renovating it for sale.

From that point onward she knew property investing was where she was going to be able to make money.

As a financial planner, Katie compliments the team with her skills in evaluating return on investment, keeping track of market conditions and lending. She is driven by maximising financial value.
