{"id":14878,"date":"2020-11-26T10:50:10","date_gmt":"2020-11-26T02:50:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jagrdwoodfired.com.au\/?p=14878"},"modified":"2022-01-17T17:51:40","modified_gmt":"2022-01-17T09:51:40","slug":"smoked-christmas-ham-glaze","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/smarterpremium.com.au\/jagrd\/recipe\/smoked-christmas-ham-glaze\/","title":{"rendered":"Smoked Christmas Ham Glaze"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong>Plum Christmas Glaze<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Place all ingredients in a pot.<\/p>\n<p>1 Jar of Plum Jam<\/p>\n<p>3\/4 cup Glucose<\/p>\n<p>1 tbls Sweet BBQ Rub (I used <a href=\"https:\/\/macbros.com.au\/collections\/spice-blends\/products\/pork-nesia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mac Bos Seasonings Pork<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup of Sweet Chilli Sauce (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Koojeddacountry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Koojedda Country<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>2 tbls of your favourite port<\/p>\n<p>Cook down over medium heat (be careful not to bring to the boil) till jam melts down and glaze begins to coat the back of your spoon to form a nice sticky film.<\/p>\n<p>Brush glaze over ham every 30 mins until cooked<\/p>\n<p>Or<\/p>\n<p>Simply use what you have on hand in your cupboard and experiment, eg. Your favourite balsamic vinegar, marmalade jam, or fig!
